FOUNDER & CEO
Jolie has an extensive background building reputations for some of the world’s leading companies, which she brings to bear as Principal of Hunt & Gather. She served as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for AOL and Senior Vice President, Global Head of Brand & Public Relations at Thomson Reuters. Prior to these roles, Jolie was the Global Director of Corporate & Business Affairs at IBM and served as Director of Public Relations for the Financial Times.
Jolie serves on the boards of Kilroy Realty, The Lowline, the Civilian Public Affairs Council for West Point Military Academy, and The Episcopal School of Los Angeles. She is active in the industry and holds committee and board positions for The Wisemen.
Tim specializes in consumer brand and public relations strategy, with a focus on creative activations. Prior to joining Hunt & Gather, he held senior communications roles at Weber Shandwick, Freud Communications and M&C Saatchi PR in both the UK and the US, working on a range of entertainment, technology, sports and FMCG brands.
Tim has extensive experience in consumer brand and product launches, with previous clients including Sky, Nike, BMW and Disney. He is also credited with leading successful sponsorship amplification campaigns including EE’s sponsorship of Glastonbury, Wembley Stadium and the BAFTAs, Foot Locker’s sponsorship of the NBA and Samsung’s sponsorship of The Olympic Games.
Director, Head of Media Practice
Laura built her expertise developing communications strategies for media and technology companies in the US and UK. Most recently, she managed thought leadership campaigns at Prosek Partners in London and managed PR for EMEA and US markets at Thomson Reuters. Laura has also held roles at The Royal Bank of Scotland and The Big Partnership, Scotland’s largest PR agency. Laura is a graduate of Edinburgh Napier University with a degree in communications, advertising and public relations.
Allie Haake is an account director at Hunt & Gather. Before joining the agency earlier this year, she was senior manager of public relations at Hearst Magazines, where she worked closely with editors and publishers of iconic brands including Esquire, ELLE DECOR, House Beautiful, VERANDA, and Metropolitan Home to develop cross-platform public relations strategies, elevate leadership profiles, maximize impact of monthly magazine content, and execute PR around brand franchises and events. She also worked on the recent launch of Airbnbmag in partnership with Airbnb and managed publicity for the publishing company's international division comprised of nearly 350 editions around the world. Earlier in her career, Haake served as executive assistant to the president of Hearst Magazines and, prior to that, as assistant to the editor-in-chief of Popular Mechanics. She graduated with a bachelor of arts in mass communication from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
Michael Norton is an Account Director at Hunt & Gather with over five years experience in the public relations industry. Norton has worked closely with publicists and senior company executives in pitching and securing press opportunities for a range of clients.
Before joining Hunt & Gather, he was an associate account executive at ID Public Relations where he played a key role in launching several TV shows, and Netflix’s first original series “Lilyhammer”. Norton previously worked as a marketing coordinator at Interview Magazine and interned at a number of media companies during his time at university.
He holds a bachelor of arts in media, culture and communication from the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development at New York University.
Lindsey has five years of experience in creating, executing, and overseeing successful public relations campaigns.Prior to joining Hunt & Gather, Lindsey worked at The Brooks Group, where she specialized in working closely with both brands and personalities to tell their stories and elevate their profiles, and conducting media outreach to top-tier consumer, lifestyle, and broadcast media.
Josh is responsible for overseeing finance and growth activities at Hunt & Gather. He brings a diverse background and diverse skill set to his role. He’s been the finance manager for extreme sports company Xpogo, an actor in a touring production, and a fundraiser for a political action committee to end gerrymandering. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
Head of the Office of the CEO
Lily Greenwell-Farrell is the Head of the Office of the CEO at Hunt & Gather. She joined the company in 2014 from Rockpack, a pre-revenue start-up listed as one of The New York Times’ apps to watch in 2012. Lily has built the foundations for a number of start-up technology companies globally and has an extensive background in publishing working with best-selling authors in the lifestyle, biographical and academic fields.
Mobile Entertainment named Lily one of the 30 Under 30 Rising Stars in 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Oxford Brookes University.
Lexi has partnered with brands and executives across entertainment and media to develop strategies for impactful brand building, communications and special events.
Previously, she worked in strategy at Turner Broadcasting, where she assessed strategic partnerships, conducted market research and performed operational audits to help develop strategies to prepare TBS and TNT to confront a changing media landscape.
Prior to that, at WME | IMG, she shared corporate and client news across the portfolio and worked with the executive leadership team to develop their messaging, presence and internal communications and initiatives. Lexi is a graduate of Wake Forest University, with a BA in English and psychology.
Alexa Schwartz is an Account Coordinator at Hunt & Gather, specializing in media relations, influencer engagement, experiential marketing and events. Prior to joining Hunt & Gather, Alexa interned in partnership development at Axcess Worldwide. In this role, she initiated new research projects for prospective clients, including an exclusive art program with American Express Asia. She also interned at The Brooks Group Public Relations, where she coordinated numerous consumer and lifestyle press efforts. Alexa is a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Communication & Rhetoric and certificates in Public & Professional Writing and Digital Media.
Julia is an Account Coordinator at Hunt & Gather, where she supports communications and media relations efforts for leading corporate and consumer brands.
Prior to joining the company, Julia held several editorial, public relations and event planning internships. She interned at BOLD Multimedia, an agency that specializes in branding, design and advertising. In this role, Julia worked collaboratively with clients in the entertainment, lifestyle, and nonprofit sectors. She assisted with public relations and marketing campaigns and oversaw client social media accounts.
Maggie joined the Hunt & Gather team as an account coordinator and liaison to the office of the CEO in the summer of 2017.
She previously worked for NBC's Nightly News with Lester Holt, MSNBC's All In with Chris Hayes and was instrumental in coordinating NBC's coverage of the 2016 Democratic National Convention where she gained intensive production, research, and media relations experience.
Maggie recently graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Global Health.
Mariel joined Hunt & Gather as an Account Coordinator this summer. She currently works on both consumer and corporate accounts including Lululemon, Barry’s Bootcamp, Pressed Juicery and The Clara Lionel Foundation. Prior to joining Hunt & Gather, she held various public relations positions interning at Bella PR, The Brooks Group and The Sak Brand Group. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising & Marketing Communications from The Fashion Institute of Technology.
